Switch Pre-Startup Checklist

1. Move Switch into zeroing position.

2. Battery Inspection

   1. Understand LiPo Batteries safety.
   2. Check battery voltage with battery volt meter. The 24V LiPo is never to drop below 3.6V for standard operation.
   3. Check for exposed wire at terminals. A short can cause an explosion.
   4. Check for significant “ballooning” or “puffiness” of the battery. This is a precursor to a fire.

3. Switch Power Inspection

   1. Check all power connections. ONLY PLUG IN A MOTOR WHEN THE LIPO BATTERY IS DISCONNECTED. 2 MOTORS WERE KILLED THIS WAY.

4. Switch CAN Inspection

   1. Check motor CAN connections.
   2. Check CAN line connections.
   3. Check PDB to CAN line connections.

5. Jetson Wiring Inspection

   1. Check all wring to the Jetson pin out is seated completely.

6. Final check

   1. Check for any loose wires.
   2. Check for clearance around joints.
   3. Check environment for hazards.
